Festival Section: New Cinema Network – Rome International Co-production Market.
Fred’s Chiara Nicoletti meets with Alvaro Delgado Aparicio and Enid Campos, respectively Director and producer of RETABLO, one of the 17 projects selected by this year’s Rome co-production market NEW CINEMA NETWORK. The film tells the story of Segundo Jimenez, a shy and reserved thirteen year old boy, who lives with his father Noe and his mother Anatolia in a remote community of the Peruvian Andes. It is a coming of age story enriched by important issues such as sexual orientation, personal identity and more importantly the inevitable moment in life in which we all suddenly start to see our parents also as normal people.
Reporter: Chiara Nicoletti.
