FRED’s Matt Micucci meets one of the leading European casting director – Beatrice Kruger. Beatrice has been involved in a great number of international productions – including Woody Allen’s TO ROME WITH LOVE and Fatih Akin’s THE CUT, the latter film presented in the main competition of the 71st Venice Film Festival.
Beatrice also talks to us about the role of a casting director, how she started her work in this particular field and whether or not this particular role gets the aknowledgement it deserves especially in comparison with other sectors in the film industry.
