At the When East meets West FRED meets Kristina Trapp, representative for EAVE, partner of WEMW since the first edition of the Coproduction market based in Trieste. is a professional training, project development and networking organisation for audiovisual producers.

Founded in 1988, their objectives are to provide professional training opportunities and to bring producers from different regions of the world together with the aim of facilitating co-production relationships. As a partner of WEMW, EAVE choose together with the board of the market the FOCUS country every year. Besides The WEMW international jury, including Nikolaj Nikitin (FILMPLUS), Matthieu Darras (TORINO FILM LAB), and Kristina Trapp (EAVE), will award the WEMW Development Award to the best project, as well as a study grant for the participation in the next edition of the EAVE EUROPEAN PRODUCERS WORKSHOP.
